Built on the Ethereum-based Ronin network, the game will cease operations this Tuesday, as confirmed by the development team on social media platform X. Despite efforts to sustain the game, the team stated that maintaining its current environment is no longer financially viable. Launched globally last year, 'Forgotten Runiverse' was inspired by the Ethereum NFT collection 'Forgotten Runes Wizard's Cult.' The team assured players that all account and progress data will be securely stored, although the game will remain inaccessible while potential future development paths are considered.
