BlackRock's iShares Staked Ethereum Trust (ETHB) has achieved $254 million in assets under management just one week after its launch. The fund, which began on March 12, has seen cumulative inflows of $146 million, with initial seed funding exceeding $100 million. ETHB stakes between 70% and 95% of its Ethereum holdings, distributing 82% of staking rewards to investors monthly, while the remaining 18% covers costs for the trust, custodian, and staking service provider.
The fund's sponsorship fee is set at 0.25%, with a reduced rate of 0.12% for the first year on the initial $2.5 billion in assets. Validators for the fund include Figment, Galaxy Blockchain Infrastructure, and Attestant, ensuring robust staking operations.
