Bitwise Asset Management projects that U.S.-listed crypto ETFs will absorb more than 100% of the newly issued supply of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana by 2026. The firm estimates that ETF demand will surpass 166,000 BTC, 960,000 ETH, and 23 million SOL in new tokens. Since 2024, Bitcoin ETFs have already acquired more BTC than has been mined, indicating a growing consumption gap. The expansion of major platforms is expected to further increase this gap, with U.S. Bitcoin spot ETFs currently holding $114.28 billion in assets. Ethereum and Solana ETFs are also experiencing strong inflows, highlighting the significant impact of institutional buying power on the crypto market.
