Bitmine has acquired 98,852 ETH for approximately $300 million, increasing its total Ethereum holdings to 4,066,062 ETH, which represents 3.37% of the total Ethereum supply. This acquisition positions Bitmine as the largest Ethereum vault and the second-largest cryptocurrency vault globally, following Michael Saylor's MSTR. Supported by prominent investors such as Cathie Wood, Founders Fund, Kraken, and Galaxy Digital, Bitmine is targeting a 5% ownership of Ethereum. Thomas Lee, chairman of Bitmine and Fundstrat, emphasized the company's strategy to bridge Wall Street and blockchain through tokenization, highlighting its significant influence in the cryptocurrency sector.
