Bitfarms has announced the sale of its 70 MW Bitcoin mining facility in Paso Pe, Paraguay, to the Sympatheia Power Fund, managed by Singapore's Hawksburn Capital, for up to $30 million. The transaction is expected to close within 60 days. Following the sale, Bitfarms will exit the Latin American market entirely, shifting its energy asset portfolio to be 100% North American. The company plans to reinvest the proceeds into North American HPC/AI energy and computing infrastructure.
