The Bermuda government has announced a partnership with Coinbase and Circle to develop a blockchain-based "all-on-chain" economic system. The initiative, revealed during the World Economic Forum's annual meeting, aims to pilot stablecoin payments in government departments and promote the use of USDC among local merchants. Additionally, the plan supports financial institutions in adopting tokenization and other digital financial tools. The collaboration will provide infrastructure and technical support to government entities, banks, insurance companies, SMEs, and consumers, alongside digital finance education and technology access.
