Berachain has announced a proposal for a new Preconfirmation System aimed at enhancing transaction confirmation speeds by over tenfold. This initiative is set to bolster Berachain's technological edge in high performance, fair ordering, and low latency. The system is designed using Berachain's proprietary consensus client, Beacon-Kit, and execution client, Bera-Reth, eliminating the need for validators to run additional components. This offers optional optimizations for high-frequency applications and those susceptible to reorganization.
