BeatXswap, a BSC chain project, suffered a price manipulation attack that caused a loss of approximately 2.985 million BTX, worth about $77,500. The attacker used a flash loan to borrow 6 million BTX and sold the tokens into the Uniswap V3 pool to suppress the price. The exploit targeted a contract weakness that relied solely on the V3 pool spot price for pricing, without TWAP protection or deviation limits, allowing the attacker to deposit USDT in two transactions, trigger liquidity minting, and withdraw BTX from LP positions.
