Cryptocurrency payment company BasedApp has announced it has reached $10 million in revenue and processed over $29 billion in transaction volume after four years of operation. Initially founded on the Terra blockchain as Suberra, the company transitioned to Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible chains following Terra's collapse in 2022. BasedApp, which began with a stablecoin settlement product, later offered cryptocurrency debit card services but discontinued this service in Singapore in July.
Currently, BasedApp provides a multi-platform wallet enabling cryptocurrency transactions on the Hyperliquid platform through various interfaces, including apps, web, desktop, and Telegram. The company claims to lead in transaction volume among developers on the Hyperliquid platform.
