Aztec has launched Terra, a new rollup designed to speed up Ethereum messaging under the V6 protocol. The upgrade targets delivery times of 12 to 30 seconds, a significant improvement over the 24 to 108 seconds range seen with V5. Applications must migrate to the new rollup, which requires recompiled contracts and new addresses to take advantage of the faster messaging capabilities.
