The Aurise Foundation has introduced XAUE, a new interest-bearing gold token on the Ethereum blockchain, aimed at institutional investors. This innovative token serves as a yield-generating treasury for Tether Gold (XAU₮), leveraging quantitative strategies and institutional lending to offer crypto-native yields on traditionally non-yielding gold assets. XAUE has already attracted significant investment, with ecosystem partners Aurelion and Antalpha contributing a combined 16,052 XAU₮, valued at approximately $76 million. The protocol's value-accretion model ensures that the gold value linked to each XAUE increases as yields accumulate. Future plans include integrating XAUE with additional decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, such as decentralized exchanges (DEXs), to enhance its utility and reach.
