Major perpetual decentralized exchanges (Perp DEXs) experienced a significant drop in trading volumes over the weekend, according to DefiLlama data. Aster emerged as the leader with a 24-hour transaction volume of approximately $4.07 billion, while most other platforms reported volumes below $3 billion. Despite an upcoming launch, Lighter's trading volume continued to decline. Meanwhile, Hyperliquid recorded a slight increase in open interest. Other platforms such as EdgeX, ApeX, and Pacifica also reported lower trading volumes, reflecting a broader trend of reduced activity in the Perp DEX market.
