The report also anticipates that the remaining market value will be driven primarily by smart contract platforms. These networks could collectively reach a market cap of about $6 trillion by 2030, fueled by on-chain financial activities, tokenized securities, and decentralized applications. Ark Invest suggests that this growth will likely be concentrated in 2 to 3 major Layer 1 platforms.
