A court in Anhui, China, has dismissed a case involving a dispute over unjust enrichment from a Tether (USDT) transaction. The case involved a buyer, Ding, who purchased 1,300 Tether tokens at 7.44 yuan each, totaling 9,672 yuan, from a seller, Wu. After the transaction, Ding claimed that Wu's earnings constituted unjust enrichment and demanded a refund. However, the court ruled that the transaction violated public order and morals, rendering it invalid. Consequently, the court decided that the parties involved must bear their own losses, rejecting Ding's claim.
