Anchorage Digital, the first federally regulated stablecoin issuer in the U.S., has submitted comments to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) regarding the proposed rules for the GENIUS Act. Anchorage Digital Bank (ADB) currently issues USAT for Tether, USDGO for OSL Group, and USDtb for Ethena, with plans to collaborate with Western Union on issuing UDSPT.
ADB emphasized that the final regulatory framework resulting from the GENIUS Act will be crucial in determining how stablecoins operate within the United States. The bank urged the entire cryptocurrency industry to actively participate in shaping these foundational rules.
