European asset manager Amundi has partnered with CACEIS to launch the first tokenized share class for its AMUNDI FUNDS CASH EUR money market fund. The new offering enables investors to subscribe through either traditional channels or the tokenized share class "AMUNDI FUNDS CASH EUR - J28 EUR DLT (C)". The solution utilizes distributed ledger technology on the public Ethereum blockchain, ensuring transparency in fund share recording and enhancing transaction traceability. This hybrid distribution model marks a significant step in bringing tokenization infrastructure to mainstream European money market funds.
