Ammalgam has officially launched its mainnet, introducing a comprehensive on-chain liquidity system that integrates lending, market making, and trading. This decentralized protocol aims to enhance liquidity provider capital efficiency by allowing the reuse of funds across various strategies. Ammalgam's innovative approach eliminates the need for external oracles, utilizing on-chain executable liquidity pricing and risk control to mitigate risks associated with price manipulation and feed failures.
The launch also includes a strategy Vault built on Lagoon Finance infrastructure, enabling users to deposit assets like USDC, ETH, and BTC into curated Vaults. These deposits yield ERC-7540 share certificates, allowing passive participation in complex DeFi strategies such as leverage and rebalancing. Ammalgam previously secured $2.5 million in seed funding from investors including Lightspeed Faction and Framework Ventures.
