Crypto markets saw $128 million in liquidations over the past hour as Bitcoin broke above $80,000, with short positions accounting for the vast majority of forced closures. Short liquidations reached $116 million, compared with $12.2 million in long liquidations.
Bitcoin-related liquidations totaled $64.83 million during the period, while Ethereum liquidations came to $36.01 million, according to Coinglass data.
