Alibaba Cloud has launched Qianwen AI, a new platform designed specifically for agent-centric AI services. Announced at the Alibaba Cloud summit, Qianwen AI offers API access to over 150 mainstream models, enabling agents to autonomously invoke capabilities with a single command. This platform eliminates the need for human interaction in model service pipelines, allowing agents to dynamically manage tasks such as invoking vision models for images and generative models for illustrations. Qianwen AI introduces a Skill-based, MCP-enabled, and CLI-compatible interface, facilitating seamless integration and operation by agents like OpenClaw and Hermes Agent. The platform also supports backend cost management, allowing agents to analyze usage data and optimize costs. Additionally, a new Token Plan subscription model has been introduced to reduce token consumption costs in high-frequency AI programming and multi-agent collaboration scenarios.
