Stilta, an AI-driven patent litigation firm, has raised $10.5 million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). The round also saw participation from notable figures associated with Y Combinator, Sana, Legora, OpenAI, and others. Founded in 2026 by former McKinsey AI practice members, Stilta's platform analyzes 180 million patents and 250 million scientific papers to assist companies in patent infringement investigations and commercialization strategies. Since its launch in February, Stilta has secured contracts with major clients including Roche, Alfa Laval, Maersk, and three of the world's top five intellectual property law firms, highlighting its rapid growth and industry impact.
