AI-related companies have captured a significant share of the financial markets in 2026, securing 87% of venture capital funding and 49% of investment-grade bond issuance, according to data from Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan. Year-to-date, AI firms have issued approximately $140 billion in investment-grade bonds and attracted $220 billion in venture capital, highlighting their dominance in these sectors. Additionally, AI companies have accounted for 38% of high-yield corporate bond issuance, totaling around $21 billion. Overall, AI-related firms have raised approximately $380 billion through these financial channels, representing 64% of all capital flows this year.
