Aave has frozen its tBTC reserve on Ethereum Core, blocking new deposits and borrowing against the asset. The reserve currently holds approximately $136.5 million. Threshold Network, the issuer of tBTC, paused minting and new redemption requests as part of the freeze. However, existing repayments, withdrawals, and liquidations remain operational.
