Aave Chan Initiative (ACI), a service provider for Aave, has announced it will conclude its partnership with Aave DAO by July 2026, with a four-month transition period. This decision follows BGD Labs' announcement to cease contributions in April. ACI has proposed an early settlement of the GHO stablecoin funding stream (ID 100070), transferring 120 days' worth of funds to the treasury in a lump sum, with the remainder returned to the Aave Collector. The original contract and funding stream were set to expire on November 8, 2026. Established in early 2023, ACI comprises an eight-member team and has received a total compensation of $4.625 million over three years.
