Taiwan has seized 210.45 BTC as part of ongoing investigations into fraud and money laundering activities. The assets, revealed during a parliamentary inquiry by Legislator Gao Zhu-chun, also include 2,429.97 ETH and various stablecoins, collectively valued at over 1.3 billion New Taiwan Dollars. These cryptocurrencies are currently held in judicial custody and will be processed through court procedures. This action is part of Taiwan's broader efforts to combat financial crimes and aligns with international regulatory standards, such as the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation.
