A recent survey conducted by Sygnum indicates that 60% of high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) in Asia plan to increase their cryptocurrency holdings in the coming years. The study, which surveyed 270 investors across ten countries in the Asia-Pacific region, found that 87% of these investors already possess digital assets. The survey highlights a growing interest in cryptocurrencies, with products such as ETFs, yield-generating options, and altcoins like Solana and XRP gaining popularity. Additionally, 90% of respondents view cryptocurrencies as essential for wealth preservation and inheritance planning. Despite this enthusiasm, regulatory uncertainty continues to pose challenges for investors in the region.
