This movement marks the first activity in nearly a decade for these assets, which were previously thought to be permanently lost. Collins still holds 5,500 BTC, worth around $389 million. Despite an Irish court ruling these funds as proceeds of crime, the loss of private keys had led authorities and Collins to believe the fortune was irretrievable.
