A total of 29,600 BTC options expired with a put-call ratio of 0.65, a maximum pain point of $73,000, and a notional value of $2.39 billion. Meanwhile, 139,000 ETH options expired with a put-call ratio of 0.9, a maximum pain point of $2,400, and a notional value of $350 million. The data showed Bitcoin continued to consolidate near $80,000 after a sharp rally two weeks ago, while monthly realized volatility rose to 40% and monthly implied volatility fell to 36%. The 15-day volatility risk premium rebounded to -6% after dropping to -16% a day earlier. Greeks.live said 7% of options expired this week, BTC open interest increased, ETH open interest declined, and overall trading activity picked up sharply.
