Ink, an Ethereum Layer 2 project backed by Kraken, has launched Tydro, a new lending protocol built on Aave v3. The protocol utilizes Ink's native token, INK, as an incentive mechanism and aims to be a key DeFi infrastructure within the Ink ecosystem. Initially, Tydro supports assets including wETH, kBTC, USDG, USDT0, and GHO. Users can earn points for future airdrop participation, and Kraken plans to integrate Tydro into its centralized trading suite. The protocol's total value locked has already surpassed $140 million.
