JPMorgan Chase has significantly increased its holdings in several Bitcoin spot ETFs during the first quarter of 2026, according to its 13F filing disclosed on Wednesday. The bank's stake in the BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) surged by 174%, rising from approximately 3 million shares in the previous quarter to 8.3 million shares. Additionally, JPMorgan's holdings in the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) grew nearly 900%, while its position in the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) increased by about 450%. Furthermore, JPMorgan initiated a new position in the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL), acquiring 47,460 shares valued at approximately $523,000. The bank also exited its position in the Bitwise XRP ETF, marking a strategic shift in its cryptocurrency investment portfolio.
