Defense technology company Anduril has completed a $5 billion H-round of financing, bringing its valuation to $61 billion. The round was led by Thrive Capital and a16z. CEO Brian Schimpf highlighted in a letter to investors that the company aims to achieve $2.2 billion in revenue by 2025, with both revenue and workforce nearly doubling over the past year. Anduril has delivered its first international project to the Royal Australian Navy and successfully demonstrated autonomous flight in the U.S. Air Force's unmanned combat aircraft program. The company plans to focus on high-capacity manufacturing, AI and autonomous systems, sensor and command control platform Lattice, and the Arsenal-1 factory and ArsenalOS production system to meet evolving defense needs amid "industrialized warfare" and great power competition.
