What is a Lead Trader?

A Lead Trader on Phemex is a trader who publicly shares their trading signals with other users through copy trading. Copiers replicate their trades, and the Lead Trader receives a share of the Copiers' profits based on a predetermined profit-sharing ratio (up to 30%).

Requirements for Becoming a Lead Trader:

1. KYC verification complete

• For sub-accounts, the KYC status of the main account will be used.
  
  

2. Currently not copying any other traders.

• Traders who are copy trading must stop all copying first.
  
  

3. Futures account balance ≥ 100 USDT

• USDT and USDC balances are combined for calculation.

How to apply to become a Lead Trader

1. On the copy trading homepage, click "Become an Elite Trader"

2. Go to the application page and click "Apply Now." The system will automatically verify your account eligibility.

• If conditions are not met, a pop-up window will appear that guides you to complete necessary actions (such as KYC verification, ceasing to copy trade, transferring funds, etc.)
• Once conditions are met, you can continue with the application process.
  
  

1. The following information is required for first-time applicants. Historical information will be automatically used for subsequent applications:

• Nickname: 20 characters max, displayed on the trader’s main page.
• Profit Sharing Ratio: 1%–12%. Default is 12%, and will take effect from the next trading position.
• Contact Information (Email): Used for platform communication and important notifications.
• Social Media Information (Optional): X / Telegram / YouTube / TradingView. Enter your username or link your account.

2. Agree to the Trader Service Agreement

• Review and confirm agreement with Lead Trading Service Terms

• Click "Confirm" to submit your application.
• If application is successful, the Trader will:
  • Immediately become a Listed Trader
  • Automatically be displayed on the copy trading page and can immediately start leading trades
• The system will automatically save the Trader's avatar, nickname, and profit-sharing ratio and apply them to subsequent lead trading settings.

How to Give up Lead Trader Status?

1. All open positions must be closed.
2. All copiers must be removed.

1. The account will revert to regular Copier status.
2. All Copiers will stop following this account’s trades.
