The alleged crimes occurred in the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas, resulting in losses of at least $6.5 million. Prosecutors claim the trio posed as delivery personnel to gain entry into homes, using violent threats to obtain victims' cryptocurrency wallet seed phrases.
The indictment details that between November 22 and December 31, 2025, the accused targeted at least four individuals. In one instance, a victim was coerced into transferring cryptocurrency valued at $6.5 million.
