Tesla continues to hold 8,430 BTC worth approximately $960 million, five years after Elon Musk directed the company to purchase $1.5 billion in Bitcoin. The electric vehicle maker has maintained this position despite significant market volatility over the past half-decade.
The company transferred most of its Bitcoin stack to Coinbase during the LUNA collapse but has retained a substantial portion of its original investment. Current holdings represent roughly 64% of Tesla's initial $1.5 billion Bitcoin acquisition from 2021.
