Starting October 26, the Swedish Government Offices will prohibit employees from using ChatGPT and Claude on government-issued computers, designating Microsoft Copilot as the sole approved AI tool. The decision is driven by information security concerns.
The move follows similar restrictions already implemented by the Swedish Tax Agency and the National Board of Institutional Care. The Swedish Enforcement Authority is expected to announce a related decision soon.
