Stablecoins have overtaken Bitcoin as the most purchased cryptocurrency in Mexico, according to a report by Bitso. In 2025, stablecoins accounted for 36% of crypto purchases in the country, surpassing Bitcoin, which, despite falling behind in purchase preference, still holds a dominant 52% share in investment portfolios.
