Malone Lam, a 22-year-old Singaporean defendant known as “Greavys,” pleaded guilty to a federal racketeering conspiracy charge tied to $245 million in stolen assets.
Prosecutors said Lam organized a transnational social engineering network that stole crypto assets through impersonated customer service, database breaches and hardware wallet theft. Co-defendant Evan Tangeman was sentenced to 70 months in prison in April for money laundering. Lam faces up to 20 years in prison, with sentencing scheduled for December 8.
