Notional Finance’s custody contract is suspected of being exploited, with about $1.7 million in DAI and USDC stolen, according to PeckShield monitoring. The incident was reported on September 4.
The attacker swapped the stolen funds into 689.2 ETH and deposited the assets into Tornado Cash, the mixing protocol used to obscure transaction flows.
