An old CoinDCX deposit address on the Tron network transferred 15,819,002 USDT to a wallet created just three hours prior on Oct. 21. The transaction involved a deprecated address that had been previously flagged by the exchange.
CoinDCX subsequently disclosed that it absorbed losses resulting from a broken sweep of its deprecated addresses. The exchange did not specify the total financial impact or confirm whether the 15.8 million USDT transfer was included in the affected transactions.
