Data from WuShuo Team indicates a 6.2% decrease in spot trading volumes on major exchanges in April 2026 compared to March. Uniswap was the only exchange to see an increase, up 0.2%, while Upbit and Binance saw declines of 1.0% and 2.3%, respectively. The largest drops were recorded by Bitfinex at 37.2%, Kraken at 16.1%, and HTX at 13.3%.
Derivatives trading volumes also fell by 9.0% over the same period. Gate, KuCoin, and Coinbase bucked the trend with increases of 3.6%, 2.4%, and 1.7%, respectively. However, HTX, BitMart, and Bybit experienced significant declines of 32.3%, 27.6%, and 19.9%.
