AI 3D company VAST, also known as Sanqi Wanwu, completed Series B and B+ financing totaling about RMB 3 billion, led by Matrix Partners. Participating investors included Perfect World, BlueFocus, Xindongneng Investment, Yanqu Games, ThunderSoft, 37 Interactive Entertainment, CDH VGC, CICC Capital and CMC Capital, with existing backers including Fortune Capital, Primavera Capital and INCE Capital also increasing their stakes.
VAST said it has raised about RMB 5 billion in less than six months. The company also released Tripo P2.0, the latest version of its flagship 3D foundation model Tripo P series. Proceeds will fund upgrades to 3D-native models and data capabilities, expansion of training and inference infrastructure, product development and commercialization.
