The XRP Ledger's Batch V1.1 upgrade has entered its activation countdown and is expected to go live on September 29 after securing support from 30 of 35 tracked validators. The amendment enables combining up to eight transactions into a single atomic operation, ensuring all transfers succeed or fail together to prevent partial settlement risks during simultaneous asset and payment exchanges. Asset managers and commercial projects are preparing to adopt the feature, which addresses critical execution requirements for complex transactions. This redesigned version replaces Batch V1.0, which was never activated due to a signature verification vulnerability, and was released with xrpld 3.3.0 following security improvements by RippleX engineers.
