X Pay, a payment infrastructure provider for AI agents and APIs, has completed a $1 million funding round with participation from DCI, Credit Scend, Skyland Ventures, Zerra Ventures, and other investors.
The proceeds will fund expansion of supported blockchain networks, independent security reviews, the launch of an API marketplace, and preparation for EU compliance requirements including MiCA regulations.
X Pay is built on the x402 payment standard, originally contributed by Coinbase and now managed by the Linux Foundation, which enables AI agents to automatically execute paid API calls.
