Wells Fargo has significantly increased its holdings in Ethereum-linked ETFs, boosting its position in BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) by 63.5% during the first quarter of 2026. The bank's holdings rose from approximately 672,600 shares in Q4 2025 to nearly 1.1 million shares in Q1 2026. Additionally, Wells Fargo expanded its stake in the Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW) by 37%, reflecting a broader institutional interest in Ethereum despite current market conditions. This move aligns with broader trends in the financial sector, as JPMorgan and BlackRock also advance Ethereum tokenization initiatives. JPMorgan has filed for a tokenized money market fund, while BlackRock plans to use Ethereum's blockchain for tokenized share classes. These developments come as Ethereum trades near $2,300, with traders closely monitoring key support and resistance levels at $2,250 and $2,400, respectively.
