SoftBank-backed data center operator DayOne has filed a prospectus with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering aiming to raise up to $5 billion. The Singapore-headquartered company plans to list American depositary shares on Nasdaq by year-end. DayOne reported first-half revenue of $512 million, representing more than threefold year-on-year growth. However, the company's net loss widened significantly during the same period, increasing from $13.5 million to $81.9 million as it scales operations ahead of the planned listing.
