Sky's upcoming Osero Spell upgrade, scheduled for November 19, will connect liquidity layers across Ethereum mainnet and Base while enabling cross-chain USDC transfers via Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP). The proposal outlines seven adjustments spanning both chains, including CCTP activation, cross-chain transfer limits, and a new permission management mechanism on Base.
The upgrade also introduces the Gauntlet-managed Osero x Gauntlet USDC Prime Vault (Morpho Vault V2) on Base with an initial USDC allocation. This integration aims to streamline capital efficiency by allowing seamless movement of stablecoin liquidity between Sky's primary and Layer 2 deployments.
