The total value of affected assets stands at roughly $36.3 million, with recovery and containment efforts ongoing. This figure represents an increase from the previously reported $11 million in frozen assets. The exchange’s platform and mobile application remain suspended until a secure restoration is confirmed. Mercado Bitcoin assured users that customer assets are safeguarded and account balances continue to be recorded accurately despite the operational halt.
