Mantle's core contributor team has published governance proposal MIP-35, setting the fourth-cycle core budget cap for July 2026 through June 2027 at 40 million USDx and 150 million MNT. The proposed limits represent a reduction from the previous cycle's 52 million USDx and 200 million MNT.
The budget covers personnel, administration, marketing, ecosystem development, and infrastructure and security. Financing, treasury strategy, liquidity provision, and investments are excluded from these caps. Any actual or projected spending exceeding a category or total limit would require separate discussion and a community vote. The proposal remains at the discussion stage.
