Liquid Network entered a controlled recovery phase at 10:00 UTC on September 10 following a hacker attack, with block production resumed as a precautionary measure while transaction processing remains paused. Blockstream said required Functionary node and bridge node updates have been deployed, and Functionary nodes are signing and verifying blocks as expected. Peg operations, including PAK-authorized peg-outs, remain suspended as the network completes final recovery steps, including restoration of BTC/LBTC reserves. Liquid Network warned users to beware of fake update websites or messages exploiting the incident and urged them not to transfer funds to unknown channels or disclose private keys or seed phrases.
