Lido has added Firelight loss protection to its EarnETH and EarnUSD vaults ahead of the implementation of a DAO buffer. The integration introduces initial 30-day payout limits of approximately $12.1 million for EarnETH and $4 million for EarnUSD.
Payout amounts under the new protection mechanism depend on available collateral and can potentially be zero, according to Lido Finance.
