Hyperliquid has announced plans to increase its active validator set from 24 to 27 in about a month, while maintaining its current permissionless validation mechanism. The network advises validators to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the testnet and related technical details before the mainnet launch. Validators are required to self-stake 10,000 HYPE tokens, which will be locked by the protocol for one year, regardless of whether they join the active validator set.
